The Windows Logoff plugin is available for AVTECH's Device ManageR software (v3.0.1 and up) to provide functionality that can Logoff Windows systems remotely across the network. When this plugin is loaded into Device ManageR, users will be able to create a new Action/Notification List that will use the Windows Logoff action when an alert is detected. This action will perform a forced logoff of the target system using the username and password provided during configuration. It can be used to logoff an unlimited number of Windows systems across the network... individually, in groups, simultaneously, sequentially or according to a defined schedule.

This plugin is ideal for use when conditions in a data center environment turn fatal for computer systems and other expensive IT equipment such as extreme temperature, extreme humidity, main power loss, flood, smoke/fire, security break-ins and other conditions. Device ManageR can logoff critical Windows systems without any user interaction both automatically and immediately, saving expensive equipment from damage caused by environment extremes that go unchecked.

Managers may also choose to logoff systems for security responses or to better manage power consumption, especially over weekends or holidays. If a security breach is indicated, managers can immediately issue a logoff from anywhere in the world with Device ManageR, by using it's easy-to-use Web Browser Interface.
