Room Alert 4E Light Tower w/Audiio is one of AVTECH's hardware solutions for "Real-Time Event Alerting with Signal Lights, Audio Alarms, Temperature & Sensor Monitoring". It includes all of the same features as the Room Alert 4E with the addition of an included mounting bracket, external light tower and light tower connection cable. It is designed specifically to assist with monitoring computer room temperature and environment monitoring in multiple locations up to 900' away, while visually and audibly alerting staff when issues or events occur. The Room Alert 4E Light Tower w/Audio package allows users to log environment sensor status for immediate alert notification, historical review and graphing. Alert notifications via email, email-to-SMS, SNMP and more communicate to devices like computers, mobile phones, iPhones, BlackBerrys, pagers and PDAs. It an easy to use web browser interface for settings changes and viewing real-time sensor status from anywhere.
The Room Alert 4E Light Tower w/Audio integrates easily with any SNMP enabled device on the network. The visual lights and audio alarms can be turned on or off via SNMP Trap or SNMP Set commands. This capability allows the Light Towers to be mounted in a location on the network where visual and audible alerting, and/or sensor monitoring is desired.
- Easy Ethernet 'Plug and Play' setup for immediate monitoring, logging & alerting.
- Lights turn on when alarms are detected (i.e. pings fail, high temperatures, etc.).
- Turn Light Towers on or off via SNMP Traps, Modbus (soon), URL, API, etc.
- Adjustable audio alarm up to 95dB (at 1m), with an oscillation frequency of 2.7 KHz +/- 50 Hz.
- Includes internal digital temperature sensor and 2 digital sensor ports for connection of external digital temperature and/or digital temperature/humidity sensors.
- Includes the ability to ping up to 8 devices on the network and alarm if they do not respond.
- Includes 1 switch sensor channel for connection of an external switch sensor such as power, flood, smoke, motion, air flow, room entry, panic buttons or others.
- Compatible with AVTECH's wall mount & ceiling mount kits for flexible mounting options.

The Room Alert 4E Light Tower w/Audio package includes a license for AVTECH's powerful Device ManageR software, an advanced solution for the discovery, management, logging, graphing, alerting and more of AVTECH's IT & Facilities Environment Monitoring hardware. It runs as a Windows Service and automatically discovers AVTECH's hardware units or Axis IP cameras across the network, allowing users to immediately be informed when environmental thresholds are passed. Device ManageR's web browser interface allows users to view and manage any or all units on their network, graph and log sensor data in real-time or over a specified date range, send out alerts if an issue or event arises, and much more.
Room Alert monitors environments like small phone or wiring closets, critical rack cabinets, computer rooms, factories, warehouses, schools, hospitals, retail and more. Since the monitor is connected via Ethernet and does not require a host PC for operation, it can be located anywhere an Ethernet connection is available. Sensors can be run inside a rack cabinet, air vent, sub floor or other location. Room Alert will help to protect valuable IT equipment and minimize downtime if a disaster does occur.
